Toccoa-Stephens County Library reopens, Summer Reading registration begins

The Toccoa-Stephens Co. Public Library has re-opened to the public with new hours.

The library, located at 53 W Savannah Street in Toccoa, now be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Public computers will not be available, but WiFi is still accessible. Occupancy will be limited to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Registration for the Summer Reading program opened on June 1 using a new online program that will manage registration and for tracking youth and teen Summer Reading progress.

Go to Beanstack at to sign up and begin logging books read. In-person registration is still available at the library, and paper reading logs are also available at the library for those who prefer to track progress manually.

Bags with goodies will be available for our younger participants will be available at the library.


Adult readers can sign up for the adult summer reading program on the new Adult Programming Facebook page! Click here. The first 99 people to sign up will get a free summer reading bag.

All summer reading events will be virtual this year. Details are available on either the main library Facebook page or the Adult Programming Facebook page. Some will be held through Facebook Live events, and some will be through Zoom events. Videos hosted by the library will be made available on Facebook and on the new Virutal Programming tab of the library website after the events.
