Six family violence cases headed to trial in Stephens County this week

The Jan. 15 trial calendar for the State Court of Stephens County, presided over by Judge James Irvin, includes a half dozen battery-family violence cases, as well as several drug-related charges, and a cruelty to children charge, among others. All trials at the Jan. 15 session will be non-jury trials.

Lacy Adams – One count simple battery (family violence), one count cruelty to children (3rd degree).

Philip Reid Alexander – One count driving while license suspended or revoked.

Eric Staffon Arthur – Two counts public drunkenness, one count marijuana possession (less than one ounce), one count pedestrian under the influence.

Makayla Bowen – One count failure to maintain lane.

Zachary Craig Brewster – One count criminal trespass, one count battery (family violence, first offense, misdemeanor).

Roger Dale Brock – One count improper starting of parked vehicle.

Jenna Cappa – One count simple battery (family violence).

Kevin Allen Carignan – One count battery (family violence, first offense, misdemeanor).

Samuel Lee Castillo – One count seat belt violation, one count failure to maintain lane, one count driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

Robert Jake Childers – One count violating a family violence order, one count registration and license requirement.

Bradley Alexander Cleveland – One count loitering or prowling.

Patrick James Conklin – One count open container violation, one count driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol, one count failure to maintain lane, one count driver to exercise due care.

Helen Joanna Dean – One count simple battery (family violence).

Troyonta Ry’Travious Finley – One count simple battery.

Rebekah Faith Heaton – One count attempt to commit offense pertaining to possession of drugs, weapons, alcohol by inmates (misdemeanor).

Jessica Ann Mitchell – One count driving while license suspended or revoked, one count slick tires.

Jamie Daniel Parker – One count driving under the influence of drugs, one count possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, one count driving on divided highway.

Patrick Terry Prather – One count interference with custody (first or second conviction, misdemeanor), one count simple battery (family violence), three counts cruelty to children (3rd degree).

Michael Joseph Ramero – One count false report of a crime, one count willful obstruction of law enforcement officers (misdemeanor).

Kaitlin Michelle Ramey – One count driving under the influence of drugs, one count expired or no drivers license, one count acquiring license plate for purpose of concealing identification of vehicle, one count registration and license requirement (violation), one count laying drags.

Sandro Rafael Rodriguez – One count disorderly conduct.

Charles Cameron Sayne – One count reckless conduct.

Leann Nicole Simpson – One count simple battery.

Malcom K Stephens – One count willful obstruction of law enforcement officers (misdemeanor).

Gabriel Chase Sullen – One count interference with government property (misdemeanor), one count criminal trespass, one count hit and run, duty of driver to stop at or return to scene of accident.

Talib-Din Shakir Suluki – One count driving without license, one count affixing materials that reduce or increase light transmission/reflectance of windows/windshields, giving false name, address or birthdate to law enforcement officers, one count slick tires

Blaine Lloyd Weaver – One count speeding, one count fleeing or attempting to elude police officers, one count windshield/window wiper requirements (violation), one count driving while suspended or revoked, one count failure to maintain lane, one count no proof of insurance, motorcycle.


All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
