Stephens County High School announced this morning that Prom, scheduled for April 25, has been cancelled. If schools are allowed by Gov. Brian Kemp to reopen and hold group events, the school will consider “possible dates in May to reschedule some kind of prom celebration.”
Graduation has not been cancelled or rescheduled, and will take place on May 22.
“If school closure and health guidelines dictate a change, we have tentatively set alternate graduation date for July 17 and October 16,” the Facebook announcement said.
