Law enforcement officers are searching for Prince Robertson, 27, in connection with an armed robbery yesterday, June 1, at Auto Zone in Dacula. He is also wanted in connection with murder of a former deputy during a January robbery at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Buford. Tavares Norah, 25, also a suspect in the death of former Deputy Felix Cosme during the January O’Reilly’s robbery and in last night’s armed robbery at Auto Zone, turned himself in at the Gwinnette Sheriff’s Office Jail today, June 2

According to the Gwinnette County Police Department, on Monday, June 1, officers assigned to the East Precinct responded to an armed robbery call at the Auto Zone at 645 Dacula Road in Dacula. The call came in around 9 p.m. The employees told the responding officers that a black male suspect entered the store and demanded the store’s cash while pointing a gun at them. He fled the store in a black vehicle.

Officers eventually tracked down the suspects’ vehicle where it crashed on La Maison Drive approximately three miles from the Auto Zone. Officers saturated the area looking for the suspects, and Reverse 911s were issued neighboring homes.

Detectives and officers determined that the two suspects who fled the vehicle were the same suspects from the homicide at the O’Reilly’s. After an exhaustive search that spanned several hours, the suspects were not found.
