Local Long-Term-Care facility sees another spike in COVID-19 deaths

Department of Community Health's Long-Term-Care report for today, Aug. 11, shows PruittHealth - Toccoa with 12 COVID-19 related deaths - an increase of four over the number listed on yesterday's report.

At PruittHealth – Toccoa, there have been a total of 188 residents have been tested (unchanged from yesterday), 127 have tested positive (up 36 from yesterday), 12 have died (up 4 from yesterday), four have recovered (unchanged from yesterday), and 43 staff members have tested positive (up 2 from yesterday)

At the Clary/Wilkinson Center, there have been 123 residents tested for COVID-19 (unchanged from yesterday), resulting in 19 confirmed cases (unchanged from yesterday), zero deaths (unchanged from yesterday) and 19 recovered residents(unchanged from yesterday) and 6 staff members who have tested positive (unchanged from yesterday).
