Indian Alumni Lexi Cash inducted into BLITZ Hall of Fame

Cash is a native of Toccoa, and a graduate of Stephens County High School. She is the daughter of Lynn and Danny Cash and played travel ball for the Southern Force Gold and head coach Dale Palmer. Cash was named the Stephens County High School Offensive and Defensive Most Valuable Player during her career. During her junior and senior seasons, Cash batted over .400 and was a three-time all-region selection. Cash signed with Brenau University softball in 2015


"A three-time All-Region selection, Lexi Cash (SS #10) was money for the Lady Indians. For three-plus seasons, she hit over .440, scoring over 100 runs, driving in more than 70, and blasting over 10 homers. The Brenau star ended up having a solid career for the Golden Tigers as well, " states the BLITZ bio on Cash.


On June 19, 52 local athletes were honored for their athleticism and leadership as they were inducted into the BLITZ Hall of Fame. The 2020 Class inductees in each sport were selected by community votes from BLITZ'S 12-county region.


The BLITZ Hall of Fame opened in 2016, inducting 27 players in the inaugural Class of 2016, 31 in 2017, 62 in 2018, a record 66 in 2019, and 52 in 2020. The Hall of Fame also consists of over 60 Hall of Fame Teams and exactly 13 Dynasty programs.
