Dionicio Guardarrama, 19, is wanted for the rape and sexual assault of a 20-year-old UGA student.
Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Dionicio Guardarrama, 19, of Carnesville, on charges of rape, aggravated sexual battery, and sexual battery.
Law enforcement officers believe Guardarrama may have fled the Athens area where the crime occurred.
In the early morning hours of Feb. 23, a 20-year-old female University of Georgia student reported a sexual assault that occurred off campus.
The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is investigating the crime, and have released portions of the victim’s complaint that describe her meeting with Guardarrama and another person in the downtown district and accepting a ride from them. The alleged assault occurred in the vehicle during the ride, according to the ACCPD

ACCPD provided a photo of Guadarrama, but noted “it should be noted that the image is a few years old, and Guadarrama will appear a little older than depicted.”
